high school musical love!

High School Musical has finally arrived in Malaysia!

And like our American counterparts, the craze has begun!

Ok, I've only noticed it because of my cuddly classmates though. Maverick - yes the big prefect guy that you think is waaay too male to like this kinda stuff - is SUCH A BIG FAN. He's always singing the songs in class, talk about the funny scenes and goes on and on about how cute Gabriella is. If you have Astro, which I hope you do because if you don't then you're so uncool, you won't miss it. The ads are always on screen and the Disney channel always play some of the movie clips. So yeah, I actually know the songs before I watched the movie.

So anyways, today, thanks to Azfar and Maverick, we all (the ones sitting in the back rowlah - even too-male-for-this Aiman!) was having one of the songs stuck in our heads!

'What I've Been Looking For' sang by Sharpay and her twin Ryan.

The movie's plot was actually freaking simple. Freaking simple and it would've probably just been another cliche if it wasn't for the songs. The songs are catchy pop songs that sticks in your head for eons! And ok, throw in beautiful young actors and you get a winner!

So now, me and my sister, are pretty much the obsessed...

We've been listening to the songs like, 24/7! Ah! It's so great to be a teenybopper sometimes!

I particularly love the 'What I've Been Looking For' song by the twins. In class today, after singing off-key and making up our own lyrics, I figured that I might as well do everybody a favour and GIVE FREE DOWNLOADS AND LYRICS.

I figured that since Azfar is obsessed with Ryan's outfits, maybe we can sing this song together! You be Ryan, I'll be Sharpay! Though I think I'll make a sucky Sharpay... but it doesn't matter! hahah. I feel like I've just morphed into a kid. So much fun.

Personally, I like Ryan's singing better than that Sharpay. Her voice is so damn squeaky. I hate squeaky-voiced singers. They suck and they just remind me of Hilary Duff. Even Gabriella has a squeaky voice! I mean, we already have Hilary Duff, which I think is enough, so why do we need more??
