GOMBAK
This is the performance during the Taaruf Week in 2005. And this is so obviously Gombak because:
a) the stage is obviously not the PJ one.
b) gamelan performances are unheard of in PJ (let alone Nilai)
c) there were guitarists!! Meaning Gombak because CFS bans guitars in their compound. SAMAN.
d) LIKE HELLO WOULD CFS PEOPLE LET YOU PLAY MICHAEL BUBLE'S SWAY IN THEIR CONCERT? I DON'T THINK SO!!
I am so excited to go to Gombak! Oh my god. You can actually feel the sheer energy from the performance... AND I WILL BE INVOLVED IN THESE THINGS SOON. I can't wait! I can't wait to be there! I can't wait to meet the people!
I WILL GRADUATE FROM CFS THIS SEMESTER. I WILL.
SEMANGAT BELAJAR KEMBALI SEMULA. haha. I am so lame. :D
-- Shafiq, if they play that song during our Taaruf week, I bet ALL MY UIA SCHOLARSHIP'S WORTH that you will get up and dance and sing along to that song. ;) saya kenal sangat dengan kamu! haha.

uia gombak's taaruf week standard is waaay higher than pj's. seriously. also, look at their kaedfest. the performances! and this one here is quite recent, still awesome tho.
i wonder how kuantan will be like :(
hahaha.... that was so COOL. Gamelans and guitar and keyboard and violin and drumset and MICHAEL BUBLE'S Sway so awesome.
The Applied arts students in KAED also have this arts festival, and one of the things they do is have music performances by 'Experimental Band', sounds fun.
