public announcement
ATTENTION:
PLEASE READ THE QUESTIONS BELOW:
a) have you lost a phone recently? Very recently?
b) as in the morning of Hari Raya Haji kind of recently?
c) is it blue in colour? (hahah don't know the model lah)
d) did you happen to lose it at MASJID SERI DAMANSARA?
e) do you happen to have my phone number in your phone?
f)) do you happen to be an iium friend of mine? (school chums need not to apply)
THEN, YES I FOUND YOUR PHONE! (WHOEVER YOU ARE!)
Ok, it wasn't me who found it. A guy named Fadhil did. And he is currently keeping the said phone because he found it in the said masjid. He messaged my number last Wednesday and told me all about it in the hopes that we will find the phone owner back and have a little happy ending for all.
So naturally, I think up of all my friends who might live in Damansara... The only people I know who is true blue Damansara people are Dina and Redha. There are probably others but I can't remember much. Then, Fadhil quipped that it is found in the woman's area of the masjid. Interesting... so that leaves... DINA! And for the fact that she has a history of losing her phone, it has to be her!
So messaged her friend and told him all about in hopes he can contact her since she's all the way in good old Kelantan. Then, he told me that he just talked to Dina. ON HER PHONE. Ookay. Maybe it's not Dina after all. Then, Fadhil helpfully messaged me that last message in the phone:
'babe.you kena confirm wit me cam asap coz ilya nanti sampai'
Hello, does that not read like Dina to you? Babe? Ilya? HELLO.
But we just had a talk earlier on and yes, her phone is still with her. Unless, it's the one she lost way back during last semester... Isn't that freaky? The phone you lost for months showed up on the morning of Raya in a mosque? Whoa. But me don't think so.
But when you think about it, it could be any of my friends. She, or even he who might borrow the phone to a she, might happen to just pray at the Damansara masjid - doesn't mean she lives in Damansara, right??
So the phone is currently still without an owner!
So I pledge to all my good friends to find out who that unfortunate phone owner! Ask your friends! LOOK AROUND YOU. Is there somebody crying uncontrollably in the corner? Are your friends suddenly asking for extra coins from you for public phones? Is there somebody you know who is making unusual two or three trips to the MASJID SERI DAMANSARA lately?
Then yes, please contact me ASAP as I will contact Fadhil and he will return your phone! This guy even volunteered to give you the phone personally if you happen to be in KL. Whoa. Isn't that completely nice? Have you ever met anyone so selfless? I am so tempted to ask him, why are you doing this? And he's not even hitting on me! No, 'Oh duduk kat mana? Umur?'. Nothing! So yes, I vote him our number one Samaritan! :D hahaha.
So yes, please contact me as Fadhil is getting rather restless from holding a stranger's belonging. Thank you!
