computer driving test

i passed my computer driving test!

:) I got 44 over 50. 6 wrongs are kinda alot but who cares! I passed!

I am so happy that I passed. It means I can now erase every useless info I had learned from the driving theory! Alright, some of them are... enlightening (who knew that you always have to signal before entering a junction?? i mean, nobody in the real world actually does it!) but some facts are just plain useless. I mean, whats the difference between lorong kecil and laluan kecil?? It's still small! Or what category driving license for tractors? Or what should you do when you see an elderly cross the road... UH I DON'T KNOW? RUN OVER THEM?

Anyway, the whole thing starts at 8 so my dad advised me to get up early. And as usual, I was late. I slept at 2 the night before ok! My mother woke me up at 5.50 for god's sakes because she want me to do my prayers. I know, I know, it's just a few minutes but a few minutes difference do count! Besides, she was leaving for Indonesia. So, that's why. Anyway, I put my alarm for 7.45 but I woke up around 8.30 instead. Meh. But I figured, heck, it's not like I have to be there at 8. Bad idea, Atikah. So, my sister and me left home at 9.45. By the time, I reached there, there was about THIRTY people waiting for their turn.

Oh... crap...

1st Hour:
At that time, I was still feeling fidgety. The number of people didn't faze me - at first. I mean, like I said earlier, I don't want to fail. It seemed like a waste of time, failing the computer exam thingy. I mean, all you have to do is read, right? My sister was there at the time with me and she was listening to my iPod while reading her English novel. Man.. I can't wait till we have novels and stuff to read! I mean, I am so freaking excited to become a student again! Anyway. I was pretty bored and impatient but I couldn't listen to my iPod since they could call me up at anytime. Yeah yeah yeah, there's like dozens before me but anything could happen, right? Plus, I figured I might as well reread the theory book - don't wanna fail, do we now? My sister keep asking me whether she could go and scoot to this nearby McD. Hell no. I don't want to be stranded here alone! There was a bunch of Mat Rempits already but I don't care. One thing, when they're in a small number, they're really shy. Oddnessity. Anyway, sister went away anyways because she needed something to do.

Minutes later, I just realised that she took the iPod with her.

So screwed.

2nd Hour:
Oh hello boredom. The thing is, people come and go so I really don't know whether the number is dwindling or not. It's like, I don't even know what's happening! What's my number?? The millionth one? How the hell does this work? How do I know who's first and last? HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S EVER GONNA END? That's the thing - I don't. By this time, I'm already smsing people to entertain me. Azfar and Adilah. I mean, they're the only people who I know is awake at that hour and smses back (you know who you are). But the fact that I hardly ever talk to them lately makes conversations really really short. At one point, we stopped smsing altogether. We so need to go out more together.

Then, I heard the lady at the counter calling, 'Nor Atikah!'

I was like, FINALLY, and about to get up and pick up my things when I saw this girl getting up and picking up her things. Seriously, this is why I hate my name sometimes. I mean, Atikah is probably one of the most common names in Malaysia. Seriously. The thing is, I know that girl came in first but I was still hoping that it's me that called. I was like, cmon it's not her, it's me they want! But it is her. So yeah, that sucks. Major. I slumped back in my seat and read whatever laluan kecil means.

More waiting. More daydreaming. More smsing. More everything.

3rd Hour:
Okay, you know at this point my brain is all kablooey. You know it. Three hours with nothing to do and no one to talk to? Brain is pretty much up the ceiling at that point. I don't even have to say it to you all for you to know it. I already stop smsing and also stop reading the book. I'm just purely daydreaming at this point. For awhile, I noticed that I've been staring at the ceiling for more than half an hour. It's already 12.15 pm. So, I was like, alright, if this thing is not up by 12.30, I am SO going to McD. I don't effing care. It's - just - too - much! I NEED SOMETHING.

Anyway, at the center itself, there's one computer that let's you try on some sample questions. Thinking that I need something to burn those 15 minutes fast so I made way to the computer. Aced through the colour test and the number test. Easy peasy japaneasy. I was really bored at that point and I just glaze through every question. I didn't bother checking back or even reading the question. My McChicken Deluxe was calling me... Then, BAM! 39/50. GAGAL. hahhaaha!! I was staring at the computer screen with shock because WTF! The questions were easy!

Suddenly, the lady at the counter called my name - for real this time!

I was panicking because I was still staring at the GAGAL on the computer screen. I'm like, what if I fail on the real exam? Shit! I thought I was ready for this! Either way, I got back my I/C, put my bag at one corner and went into the exam room. So, I pretty much took my time. In fact, I only finished everything 2 minutes before the time stops. I checked, I rechecked, I double rechecked every single thing even though they're simple easy ones.

Then: 44/50. LULUS. Booyah!! I did a little dance on my chair. haha. DUUH.

And to celebrate it, I end up belanjaing my sister a McD lunch. Yes, I did get my McChicken Deluxe at the end of it. heh. Is it me or McD's fries are the best fries in the whole wide world? Seriously, it's insane. Onto the dreaded SIX HOURS CERAMAH and real driving on the road!! WOOO CAN'T WAIT WEY.
