a walk in jonker walk
a few months ago, i've read the book 'confessions of a shopaholic'.
and guess what?
it turned me into one!!
ok, ok, i know that most people who read the book should, you know, understand the danger of obsessive shopping and all that. i mean, look at what happened to rebecca bloomwood! she was in debt! she doesn't have a single cent to her name at the end of the book! SHOPPING IS BAD. ok, not bad. but my sister was right. reading book shouldn't turn me into a shopaholic. it should do the opposite.
but the thing is, it did. like rebecca though, i literally don't have any money to spend on. so, i go eyeballing every display in the shop of the beautiful pretty things. once, i caught myself looking through amazon.com because they have tons of lipgloss on sale. they're so pretty. every packaging of the lipgloss is amazing. i want to shop shop shop!
yesterday, i went to jonker walk in malacca. and i have to say that i have a blast! it's like a street market of sorts. i bought myself a bag for college later (investment!) and this fab top that i love. i didn't even try the top - i just look at it and i want it and i bought it. haha. i love that feeling. the feeling you can just pick something up and have it.
i didn't get shoes though. :(
i want need live for shoes! i want SHOES.
i wonder if i hadn't read the book, that i won't be as crazed now...
and guess what?

OMG! I had that feeling ince. We went to Bnagkok and got like a rm400 shopping allowance. And on the last day of us being there, I hadn't finished around half of my money. But my mom said it was so wasted to change back to Malaysian money because it sells for heaper or whatever. So the last night we were there, they bought us to this mall, and I end up buying just whatever I like. Not trying it on. Ada this one baju I bought, I just saw it on the manequin, then I told my sister, HEY STOP. I'm buying that! And I did. It was the greatest feeling EVER!! Like you HAVE to spend the money!! HAVE TO DID YAH HEAR ME!!! HAVE TOOOO!!!
I love shopping. :D
