oh the crapola!

shit has hit the fan.

basically, without even making a proper announcement yet, five of my friends could not make it for 29th December. One cancelled due to not-quite-close friendship reasons. actually, he didn't cancel on me but i cancel on him. because i figured he won't come anyway. one is in turkey and i obviously couldn't contact him. possible that he would come back by the due date but i won't hope on it. then, tasnim went all kampung on me. haha. she has to go back for hari raya aidiladha. reasonable excuse. miza has decided to go penang FOR SOME REASON. and! gg has suddenly booked the whole week for some other events! out of nowhere!

gg! god u! you're the first person to confirm with me! you can't unconfirm! there's no such thing!

anyways. ok, you'd be thinking, ' HEK ELEH LIMA ORANG JE.'

however, these aren't just any 5 people. THESE ARE MY BESTFRIENDS.

well, some of them anyways.

don't get me wrong. i'm not going to go all scandalized and say 'friendship is bullshit!'. no, it's not like that. it's just that i wish that they could come because they're the ones who had been going on and on about visiting my house. you see, they've never come to my house in kajang and i have never shown a picture of the house either. so, they're totally clueless. me likey... me likey clueless people... oh sure, they know i have a pool in my backyard and my room is gloriously fuchsia pink. but other than that - zilch. and i am very short in description. i guess i prefer to walk the walk than talk the talk! plus, it's always fun to see people's reaction.

anyway, since my mother's friends are somewhat connected with my friends, my friends somehow found out a bit about my house here and there. and now, they think my house is a MANSION. oh my god. what the hellness. so not. SO NOT. GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD. fawwaz's house is definitely bigger than mine. and you haven't seen wan's house. wan's house is a freaking hotel.

gg even put atikah's castle instead of atikah's home on her handphone phonebook!!

this sort of thinking always makes me nervous. these high expectations. they just assume it's this grand fiesta thing. hopefully, i won't let you down but keep your head under check please!

anyways, i had a strategy.

the strategy was this: i tell all my close buds and get their rsvp. so if most of my close buds gives me the thumbs up, i call in the others. the others are merely people i like to hang with and wonder if they're willing to party up the kajang atmosphere a bit. if they turn down my invitation, i won't mind. HOWEVER, if my close buds turn down my invitation...

i'm not even sure if i want to do a party!

which leaves me in a dilemma. do a party which three of your close friends couldn't attend or do it later. but the reason i am doing it now is because i want to hang out with the people who is going to national service before they leave! i'm afraid that i won't see them anymore. especially mahfuz. in school, we're close friends but school is the glue that hold our friendship together. without school, i hardly see him. he has his own clique and i have mine. and the fact that we never do anything together outside school obviously made it impossible. now, he's going to be gone for 3 months. hmmm. fawwaz and shahir is also leaving for national service this january.

and the big-ass problem is i've already invited them. if i hadn't, i could just cancel but i already did. twice in fact thanks to didi. haha. and i already made it clear the reason i'm doing it is to see them before the three-month absence. so how now, brown cow?

i guess one of the reasons i wanted my close buds to go are because they're lively bunch of people. you see, there's two types of people in a party: there's the energetic bunch that drinks up everything enthusiastically and there's the bunch that rather makes small talk with a group here and there. i am actually the latter but i can be the former too. but since this is my party thus i need as much as energetic people as i can! i'm sure diana and farisa can keep the energy pumping but more is always good. the guys... i'm scared they'll be too energetic!

i mean, shafiq has already planning to push me into the pool. hey pal, if i go down, you're going down with me, you hear that?! YA HEARD THAT?

anyways, i am incredibly nervous about the party. gg just said that it's my kampung kajang self that makes me so lame. haha. no lah. it is just that this is my first party for a long time. the last one i've done was way back when i was ten. and even then, my parents handled the whole thing and there was no entertainment since it's just my relatives. so yeah, this is my first TEEN party. BRING IN THE BOOZE AND THE STRIPPERS! hahhaa. so yeah, i am sad to say that i actually have sleepless nights thinking over the party. LAME. crazy ideas float in here and there but when i think of the expenses... but i already thought of some stuff, it's just that i don't know if it could make it work. fake tattoos.. anybody has any idea where to get them? specifically?

my mum and my sister was like, why you want to hype so much? it's not even your birthday!

yeah well. that doesn't change the fact that i might want a cake for the party! haha. i want unicorns too! maybe mini rainbows so that i can make them into party gifts. haha. this is how insane my ideas can get. anyway, i will be serving SATAY KAJANG. haha. obviously. i already thought up the games we're gonna play!

i guess i won't postpone it after all. hmmm. let's see, ok? if 10 people turns me down then i guess that party is off... too bad though... i'll be terribly disapppointed. :(

-- girls, if you want to stay back for a 'girls only activity', you might want your parents to pick you up. i don't think it's safe to ride ktm at nightlah. just an advice.
