Sllloooowww

'Sitting in a boring room.'

Today was a rather slow day. It's like one of those days where you find yourself that time had stopped. Or just plain slow. Painfully slllooowww.. SLOW.

Anyway school wasn't too bad. There were parts which bored me to death and some are OK. Everyone was abuzz about the whole Sumbangsih raptai thing. Some peeps paid two bucks just to see this! I don't know why though. I mean to see a bunch of amateurs trying to entertain us?! Not such a big deal to me, thank you very much. In fact, I couldn't be bothered. Usually we will pay attention for about 30 minutes before I end up gossiping with my girls. So, I can't really see the point of all this hoopla.

'You said you loved me/Why did you lie?..'

At recess, we ate brunch - or whatever you call it. A bit of drama happened at that particular moment, between my girlfriends. Usually in movies or books, best friends stick together and they always always know what to do or say. But I don't. I can't and couldn't. And I wouldn't since I think I will only mess up things even more. And so I just watched it unfold ; the others didn't do much either and most of us try to distract ourselves by making up small talks. But we keep watching anyway. Who know what would happen, right?

We may lose a friend right then...

Oh yeah! And Diana and Fari fari and me had a bit of a laugh after the recess. I'm supposed to pick up my Ledger book at the Bengkel Menjahit thing and so I went there with them. Reaching up to the stairs I realised the gate at the stairs was locked because when I pushed it, it won't budge and there is this huge silver lock at the side there.... So I end up calling out the teacher's name to pass me my book! Just imagine me and Farisa and Diana calling out 'Teacher!' 'Pn.Vicky!' 'CIKGU!'. Farisa and Diana was just enjoying for the fact they're just making noise. And you know what?? It wasn't even locked! I'm supposed to pull it not push it. Heh. Pn. Vicky just nudged the gate to open it, to my surprise. Diana and Farisa was laughing like mad! Even when I reached the bottom stairs, Diana was on the floor clutching her stomach while Farisa is jumping up and down. Seriously, I'm like, the light of their live or something.

'I just, want you to know/That you were my boy'

There was two choices 'ere : Go to raptai thingy or stay and listen to a ceramah in a jam-packed place. And guess what - we didn't go to both of 'em. Instead we stayed in class while Farisa think of how to seludup her guitar to school. Firstly, I don't care about the raptai thing and that I heard the people that is not involved will be halau-ed. Harvey went there and got vamooshed. And the ceramah thing is so not inviting! We were late so by the time we got there, there ain't no chairs left. Gg said it was really educational and talks about how to find the career you choose. I should go ya know, since even till now, I don't have an ambition and even considered being unemployed. Heh.

Anyway, in the end, Farisa and Diana went to call Farisa's house to get her guitar. Izzaty and me just sat there in my class listening to the raptai ppl sing - and accusing each other lesbians and who has the dirtiest brain!! It took long enough for them to make the phone call. And then, we just went to fence and waited for Farisa's neighbour to give the guitar to her. A little bit of action here! Izzaty and Farisa ran up to the end of the fence and grabbed the guitar and run for the lives!! There was a teacher in the other class...I told you it was a little action..

'You smile at me/I smile at you!'

So we played the guitar and strummed and sang (as quietly as possible). Farisa played her song but taknak nyanyi kuat-kuat! FARISA!! LOUDER!! We spent a slow 30 minutes just strumming the guitar. I tried my hands on it and failed!! My fingers are just too fat...Gah! Strict diet for my fingers! Hahahahahahaha. Then, Miz and Gg came back and they played the guitar while yg lain balik to their class b'coz their teacher was in it. Even my little Gwennie played the guitar and damn she's good! She played 'When You Say Nothing At All' (that's the title?) by Ronan Keating perfectly.

Our classmates got back and even Mr. J arrived! He doesn't even mind us playing the guitar, in fact, he asked us to play some songs! You rock, dude! Gwennie played the Ronan Keating song again and everybody else just mumbles the lyrics. And then, Gg did a live performance! I swear, Zakwan is now secretly building a shrine for her..Hahahahah!! Kidding! And then, Mr J did some singing himself! He sang a song about...smiling? but he's voice is good I tell yah! Very good! He even rapped a little! My English teacher raps! Hahahahahahaha. This was the fun part though because the whole class looks like they enjoying themselves...

I enjoyed it because it has been a long time since we just sit around in school without the cares in the world...It felt like the end of the year! Today was a really slow day - I guess that's why I got so many things to write today! Well seeya!

-- The italic lyrics up there is songs that we sang throughout the day that we went through...
