Exam

I am half way till the soul-sucking exams are over! Wohoo! I would like to give you a bit of a picture of how did my KH Exam went. Boring but I'll try to be entertaining.

If you're not a Malaysian, then you will never how godawful KH is. It teaches practically everything - from sewing to potting little flowers - in other words, Successful Housewives Handbook. They even teach you where is the proper place to put spoons and glasses and stuff! But if you put it down in words, god its boring! And you know how kids are, if you hafta, you don't wanna. And that is me amigo.

So, we had our KH exam. Everyone is in places and everything. We began. Then, my mind drifted. How can you focus on something that you don't even bother to read?? I only flipped the book once and that is 10 minutes before the actual exam! So obviously, a little bit of guessing work has to be done. A lot of interesting things can be seen...

There is one Chinese girl a table away from me is muttering under her breath and somehow counting her fingers. I suspect she remembered the whole book by heart. The boy next to me however, was staring at his pencil box! I wonder if he knows the paper is already set in front of him....Gg, my friend, looked like she had given up the paper completely. Her expression is bored and tired, the same way I'm feeling right about now. A guy named Chun Hean even brought a ruddy alarm clock to school! There it was with its huge round red body with its oh-so attention-catching glow hands ticking on the big numbers...Why can't people stick to the ever normal wrist watch?? There was also digital wrist-watches - they keep setting off in the middle of the exam. Suddenly, a familiar kindergarten song belt out and the most unlikeliest people actually wore it to school.

Word.

After the exam is the friend-seeking ritual where kids went amok and began to search for their friends and - whine.

"I'm so gonna fail that test!"

"No way! I guessed almost half of the question given!!"

"Yeah right! I know you guys won't fail that test. I AM!! My mom is gonna kill me for sure!"

"DO ANYBODY KNOW THE ANSWER FOR NUMBER 24?? WHAT DID YOU DO? C? I'M DOOMED!!"

It's like everybody is trying to top each other. It gets very amusing sometimes unless you're one of them. Then, there will be the whole I'm-doom kind of problem. But when I made my way to the canteen, I saw three girls whooping at each other with high-fives. They checked through the book and found out that the answered most of the questions correctly. Somehow, it made me felt so depressed. The next thing I know, I feel like taking the darned KH book and read it even though the exam is over.

PMR is in another four months...I think this is time where you have to take things seriously and whatever you do - it's all up to you in the end...

no worries atikah! my grades aren't exactly 'smart' material either.. and doing it was really sucky too.. I just hate exams and the fatc that PMR is in 2 months.. haih..

I've been focusing on un-important stuffs.. (to which I think is very important by the way.. only other people don't see it with me.., I mean, remembering the name of Mr. Crab's daughter [which is pearl by the way], is much more imporatant than knowing where is pulau ketam right? haih..)

so thats it.. results are up.. grades are down.. and mom will start screaming.. so whats new huh?

-ok atikah! I've commented! NOW UPDATE!
