The Agony of Procrastination

I swear on my dead hamster's grave, I hate projects! I mean projects like making dollies with cotton stuffings with paper is ok, but the ones that have to be so precise and correct, that even one flaw can sock the life out of you! Especially if it links to your darned exam papers - in this case, my PMR!

And the cursed projects are Kemahiran Hidup projects. Wood work and a scrap book. Great...Just PERFECT.

The scrap book is pretty ok. Since there is a manual to do it, guess it isn't a big deal...Until I did it in the last hour!!

Then, my wood work, which is a 'Kotak Serbaguna Berirama', also known as a music box, is pure hell. Not only that it needs every attention you have, you also have to do it just right! And not only that, the machine that cuts up all the plywood is completely jambled. It's either the board doesn't fit in together or its bigger than it's suppose to or it's just plain wrong. So yes, blame it on the machine everybody! Boooooo....

So, yesterday, I was in a panicky state. My dad wasn't here yesterday, because as you know, he went out-station. Again. So I can't bind my scrap book. And yes, I know it's all my fault, I took the whole day surfing the net when I should be finishing up my scrap book..But it is not all day you got the whole day free to yourself! Ok fine, I'm a procrastinating chick. Happy now? So at 11 o'clock at night, when I'm supposed to sleep soundly in my bed...I had my Crayola sprawled all over the table, the scrap book papers
was all bundled up, I was speed-reading the manual while my hand scribbled on some stuff on the papers...I thought I wouldn't make it! By the time it was 1 o'clock in the morning, I was exhausted off my pants. I'm supposed to decorate it creatively but it ended up being like some little kid's work. God, was I tired or what!

By the time I reached my bed, I blacked out completely. BAM! And I was gone to La-La-Land ... Until the alarm clock in my phone rang and woke me up at 4 o'clock in the morning! Can't a girl get some sleep here?! And two hours later - school. So I went to school with this dark cloud hanging over my head. I could have passed off as the Devil's spawn with the I-could-kill look on my face. And then, I realized that I forgot to bring my English Essay book! GAH! Thank god Mr. J was pretty cool about it (like he always do) but he asked me to bother myself by bringing it to school on the school holidays. Ai.... My parents will be so thrilled when I asked them to drive me to school on a damned holiday.

But I passed up both of my projects today. It's like a weight just lifted off my shoulders. Phew... I came home with a lighter bag and felt relieved and happy sappy. So, now since I had unload all the stuffings, now to enjoy my two weeks holiday!!

...

As if!
