last getogether ... for now
three days to go.
This morning, I went to KLCC with my friends for the last time before I go to UIA.
And I felt it.
I felt the feeling that I am leaving. That after this, I might not see some of them anymore. That, yes, campus life is starting RIGHT NOW. That I am moving away. That our lives are sort of not going to intersect as much. That my mind is no longer thinking about high school anymore, but about the campus life that I am going to have.
That this morning is going to be the first rare getogethers - rare by meaning that after this everyone is going to be so busy that we won't do it in months. First - by meaning that this is the start of our separation.
The start of the day was hilarious though. :)
I was late. No surprise there. So, I called up Diana to meet up with the others. But funnily enough, Shafiq answered the phone - in Spanish. I was like, what the hell? Pass the damn phone to Diana! And he's like, oh tak boleh because Diana is contaminated right now.
I thought Shafiq was being crazy on purpose, as usual. I can even hear Diana laughing in the background so I thought they were just playing around. Either way, Shafiq told me to meet up in KLCC's park. I thought they wanted to camwhore in the park or something which is a not-so good idea since I was wearing all-black! Farisa told me to dress up so I did! Anyway, when I met up Shafiq, he was holding a cream-coloured handbag and this multi-coloured paperbag. He looked so beyond gay. Haha! He even said so himself!
When I met up the others, Diana was like 'Oh I can't touch you!'. And I was like, 'Uh.. why?'. And she was like, 'I'm contaminated! I TERTOUCH KULIT BABI'.
Oh. My. God.
'And now, I have to SAMAK.'
HAHAHAHA. OMG.
SORRY DIDI BUT IT'S TOO FUNNYLAH.
So there we were in KLCC's park - being all dressed up - watching Didi washing her hands with mud. She was crouching on the ground and we were trying to remember our former PAFA and Agama classes about samak. 'Ada niat ke??''Isn't it 7 different types of tanah or 7 times with the same tanah?''Eww gross Didi!'.
Honestly, I thought when I go to the heart of KL, I thought I'll be seeing some civilisation, at least. I bet all the foreigners walking passed us thought that Malaysian teenagers pass time by playing with mud. Haha. Ok, sorry Didi about talking about it so much! haha. But it's too weird not to be blogged about! Haha ok. I'm stopping now.
Alright, there were 6 of us at the time - Diana, Shafiq, Me, Farisa, Shahrul and Farisa's kindergarten friend, Lynn. So, went to Kinokuniya because some of them had 50 bucks worth of Kinokuniya's voucher. We actually spent a lot of time in Kinokuniya. Farisa, Diana and Miza was whizzing around with books in hand. I'm pretty broke so I don't want to. Shahir bought a dictionary of all things. So, Shafiq, Shameen and Shahir was just plain ragging on me! The first two memang dah biasalah - it's their favourite thing to do. But Shahir?? What the hell! He got influenced by them so damn easily ok! You sponge you! haha.
Anyway, we actually spend a lot of time just walking around because we couldn't choose a place to eat. YEAH. We always have that kinda problem! Someone would want to go to the Food Court because it's cheap and fulfilling. Someone would want to go somewhere a bit pricey to 'capture the moment'. Anyway, we end up in Chilli's! Yey! My favourite place in the whole wide world! We camwhored a lot. Unfortch, I didn't bring my camera due to the fact habis battery so no pictures, guys. :(
We talked. We shared food. Me and Diana ordered Triple Play and a bottomless drink. Man, I so love the eggrolls! ATIKAH HEARTS THE EGGROLLS. And the fact that our drink was bottomless, Diana and me actually drank four types of juices! It started with an orange juice but it tasted bad. So, me and Diana actually forced all of the people on the table to finish it up! Even Lynn ok! Oh my god, we were mean! Then, mango juice pulak but that tasted kinda bad, too. So, around the table it goes. Haha. Then, we had apple juice which actually tasted nice.. But then everybody wanted a taste also! haha. I think at the end, me and Diana got kinda greedy so we also ordered green guava. Which tasted bad. haha.
Oh! We also did a birthday song performance in the Chilli's! Because the whole outing was also to celebrate Farisa's birthday actually. I remembered that last time, my cousin did something like this to me so I asked the waiter guy to do it. Plus, I heard that they give free brownies. We were full but we have room for brownies! Oh yeah, I think it was Lynn's birthday too. I think the fact that there were two birthdays and nine people celebrating it, the good people of Chilli's actually gave us A FREE HOT MOLTEN CHOCOLATE CAKE. WOOO!
MAAAAN. I love Chilli's even more now!
Okay, Azfar, I know that you don't really like the Hot Molten Chocolate Cake but everybody else LOVED IT. Really. They gave us nine spoons and on the count of three, all of us dig in! It finished in a matter of minutes. Yummy. Delicious. God, I can still taste it. haha.
Anyway, soon the day ended. Me, Diana and Shameen had to go home earlier than the others. So, when we exited Chilli's, things got emotional. For one thing, we knew that this is the last moment we're gonna share for a long time. So we hugged each other and said our goodbyes. The fact that I'm the one next to go made everything even more emotional. People were saying 'We're still gonna see each other, right?'. But no one actually answered that question. At one point, I was really speechless because if I open my mouth, I will bawl my eyes out.
There was also a moment where me, Miza and Farisa were just looking each other. Counting this year, we have known each other for a decade. That's right. Not one or two or even five but 10 years. Ever since that first year in primary school, we always somehow found ourselves in the same situation. Until now. So, I guess, the three of us really went through it all together, you know? Sigh.
Would you believe me when I said I am crying right now? Because I am.
Anyway, I had my first experience riding KTM and LRT with friends!! WOOT. GILA JAKUN. haha!! Seriously. You know that entrance to LRT from KLCC? Well, I had never been to that part of KLCC before. I always rode cars or even taxis to KLCC. Never LRTs. So, I was being googly-eyed while Shameen and Diana laughed and stared at me. They said I was being hyper. Heh. But they were really helpful with me! Like that time to order tickets and how to insert your ticket and all. Seriously, I was like a kid. :D
Well, at least I prolonged the day with Diana and Shameen and experienced riding KTM and LRT with them. :D They were tired so we didn't camwhore :( But it doesn't matter when you think about it :D
So that, my friends, is how my day ended.
-- I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.
