Subang Parade was robbed the other day.

oh my god.

That's possibly one of the biggest shockers ever! For a start, I've always loved Subang Parade for what it is - nostalgic, comfy and definitely safe. Ok apart from Tomei and Poh Kong, what sort of other retails over there worth robbing? Sure, I've always wanted to bring home some shoes from Voir. Croissants from Deli France? Japanese candies from Cold Storage? Little kiddies from Tumble Tots?

Basically, Subang Parade = safe.

I've always thought of it as my backyard...

So, it was a bit of a shocker for me when I found out that a huge robbery happened at Subang Parade! I almost couldn't believe my eyes! I mean robbery in Subang is possible and not much of a biggie but I think in Parade itself... this must be the first! Well, anyway, the police of M'sia managed to dispatch them around 8 hours... Eight hours is pretty long, ya know. During that time, I could've shopped through dozens of shops. I bet all the SJ-ians in Parade at the time were enjoying it and feeling like they're in some action adventure movie or something. Like, an extra in a Slyvester Stallone flick.

And I heard that the robbers were trigger-happy so there has to be a hell lot of gunshots fired at the time! Look at me, Ma, I'm in a movie but better!

The robbers are Thais... I'm just wondering, isn't there enough jewellery shops in Thailand to rob - they just have to come here?? Honestly.

Anyway, I know loads of my friends work at Subang Parade. Seriously, loads. It's like SMSU is in Subang Parade! Wherever I go, I recognize somebody. Whenever I enter a shop, I found a familiar face and says Hi and ask the obvious question 'Oh, you work here now?'. Like, DUH, Atikah. They don't wear the uniforms for fun, do they?

So far, I know that Shahrul and Aiman is in Kenny Rogers. Fandi in Baskin Robbins. Syahirah in Speedy. Gg in Tumble Tots and Farisa is probably joining her. Yeah. There's probably more but I haven't went to Parade lately. Does anybody has the complete list?? haha.

Since I know Aiman was there at the time of the robbery, I interviewed Aiman of the whole incident and this is what he said: 'Panjang cerita tapi dipendekkan - Parade kene robbed. Tu je.'
