THAT WAS MY LAST SPORTS DAY, LIKE, EVER.

Yeah, Atikah is growing old. So very old. I don't know how am I going to come to terms with not being a school student. I don't know how it will feel like after years and years of textbooks lists, school uniforms, school attendance to utter freedom. Oh wow. Hell, what am I gonna do with all that free time anyways?? Routine makes me feel safe.

ANYWAYS!

There is one word to describe this year's Sports Day: vacant.

For some reason, it was damn empty. In fact, when I came to the MPSJ field, it was so empty that I thought the whole thing hasn't started yet. Until I saw the marchings had already started. Damn. Being seniors and all, most of my friends have become troop leaders and commanders and whatnot. I missed their performance. I didn't get to wish them good luck. Dammit Atikah! I didn't even get to take their pics! Damn damn damn damn damn.

How empty was it though? After I watched the people marched a bit, I saw two people in Lekir's orange shirts sitting somewhere in the middle of the field. With my rabun rabun eyes, I guessed it was Gg and Fawwaz. And I was right! See how empty it was? Even how big the field was, you can actually find your best friends in the middle of nowhere! Me and Gg joined the others. We watched the people of badan unit beruniform stand in the middle of the hot sun while sorta-not-really listening to our headmistress present a speech. And with my rabun rabun eyes, I noticed Izzati, Farisa, Shafiq, Azfar, Iman, Farah, Hikari and some other people. You know that I had never marched before? Never saw the upside of being clad in heavy uniform under the hot sun. My loss, I guess. Two people fainted. Hmmm...

In my circle of friends, they have known me as the traitor of my house. hahah. Yeah, I'm a traitor alright. When I was a little girl (little lah sgt...) back in Form 1, I was in Hang Jebat. I was in that house for two years and they lost - like crazy ass lost. All the time. And there weren't much of the people I know in it. So, in Form 3, I signed up in Hang Lekir. Because they always win. And I knew more people in Lekir. We couldn't do that but I signed up anyways. We love winners! hahah. But this year? I didn't sign up for any houses but - BUT - I went to the three house meetings! I voted Azman to be Hang Lekiu's president (didn't win though), lingered a bit at Hang Lekir but I find it kind of boring, and then voted Farisa as the Naib Bendahari (she won!!).

So, I am a nomad. And I don't care. Bite me.

Tetapi Miza and Diana macam tak puas. Tak taulah apasal. Maybe because Hang Lekiu asyik kena kalah dengan Hang Lekir kut. Dan oleh kerana I always macam konon bangga jadi Hang Lekir (tak pun, saja sebab tak ada kerja lain), diorang jadi tak puas. They will go, 'ATIKAH. YOU'RE NOT IN LEKIR OK? PLEASELAH ACCEPT YANG YOU TU IN JEBAT. JEBAT IS LIKE THIRD OK?'. Tak taulah mengapa. Lekiu got second again this year. Lekir is the first. I don't care. I cheered for the people in Lekiu because I was sitting with the Lekiu-ians. I still don't care. Jebat got third this year. I don't care. But I can't help being smug that Lekir won first. Then Miza dan Diana macam tak puas. I don't care. haha.

But one thing I noticed was that the Lekius are the loudest bunch of all. Miza said that Lekius has the most loudmouths. I can't help to agree. But it was fun! Everytime anybody from Lekiu came up to receive his prize - there goes the blue flags waving madly - there goes the blue banner going around like some kinda of ad - there goes Omar with his painted blue face and the red indian hat thing and the crazy dance of his. haha. That's one of the great thing about Sports Day. The whole muhibbah-ness. The adrenaline rush. Whoa.

Diana ran today. I never knew she was athlete, you know. I knew she was smart but athletic? Dammit that girl is an all-rounder. And she was being all nervous because it was a short notice thing. So, there she was flexing and stretching and going all 'I dah lama tak sprint!!'. I tried to calm her down. And guess what she got? She got second - out of the others who probably practiced for this event... The next time she goes 'I can do this!!', I'm just gonna clamp my hand over my ears and go 'Na na na na!'. haha.

Then, some asshole went and stole Farisa's bag. Man, I hate bitches that ruin things for people. Seriously. They should just die. The day should've ended like a movie ending but we ended up checking up drains and bushes for her bag. Bastard. Asshole. Retard.

And last but not least-

I've finally pulled up my courage and talk to him!! And not only that, I got myself a picture to prove it. hah! I don't know why but I could feel my like on him is fading. Like, since I've talked to him and stuff, there's no thrill anymore... Sigh. Time for a new guy!
