Shoe-zies!
Remember that song from the Cheeky Girls that goes something like this:
'TAKE YOUR SHOE-ZIES OFF! WOO!'
If my life had a soundtrack, then, that the Cheeky Girls' song is so perfect for my search for 'The Shoes', which I did this morning. 'The Shoes' (Yes, Capitalisation Is A Must) are the shoes I'm going to wear for Sumbangsih! *cue girly shriek* Honestly - this Sumbangsih thing is turning me into a shrill bimbo.
My house has two places where we keep shoes. One is the brown, dusty shoe rack outside my house (which sometimes being inhabited by house-lizards and the likes. Ugh.) and the grey Ikea shoe rack besides the entrance door. In front of the grey shoe rack is tons of shoe boxes. My family love all these sentimental-thingies. Anyway, they're dusty and ain't good for my cough (which I developed overnight. Yey for me). And Malaysia was kinda hot that afternoon. Anyway, I thought that I better get things over with. Besides, I am a woman on a mission! Haha.
Attacked the grey shoe rack first. Because it's got less dust bunnies. Most of them are my mother's shoes. So, I tried them on! First, it was this silver-ish and grey-ish shoes. Looked pretty but it's getting pretty shabby so - REJECT. Then I tried on this painful-looking shoes in the colour of the goldest gold. I got mah bling-blings in mah ice-creams, yo! It's painful to wear, too. I think those are the type of shoes my mum buys but regrets when she tries it on. It looked like no one had wore it before - I know why.
There is something about wearing these adult-ish shoes that completely changed the outlook of your feet. I mean, wearing my mother's office shoes (you know, those office women wears) totally transformed my feet into those kind of feet that those bussiness-type women have. But if I wear my beach-y flip-flops then I'll be the 15 years old, Linkin Park-loving, MTV-brained girl I am! And I like the clickity-clack sound of walking in high-heels. But unfortch! None of these shoes are perfect for Sumbangsih. My mum does not have those strappy high-heels! Not good.
So, I end up having this black and pink shoes. But it's short-heeled! I mean, my skirt will definitely look better with high-heels. BUT NO. My mum said that it's ok since you know, I'm not used to high-heels and blah blah blah. I feel so deprived. Gah. Ok, there's no way I can talk sense to my mother about this. Besides, it's kinda too late to buy shoes now. And my mum did say something about 'don't waste money!'.
I think my mum is trying to make me stuck into kiddie mode forever. Ish, why do I keep losing in life? I still haven't asked her about her mascara and the likes...
-- Take your shoe-zies off! Yeah, that's real sexy.

dude! I'm sure you'll still look like A SEXAY MAMAH!!!! ahahahha!! Strapped heels or not..
sexy mamah? mm..right Farisa.. but your mum is right though..even though you think your outfit won't look as nice in a short heeled shoe, it would look perfectly horrendous if you wear a high heeled shoe and you're limping the whole day right? ^-^
