Misty-Eyed Before

Yesterday was probably one of those days where its just so... I don't know - there are just some things that you can't write down. And if you do, it won't sound right or not good enough to explain it. But yesterday, we had a lot of self-reflection about the people around us and ourselves. It will be one of those memories that will forever acid-etched to my brain... Sigh....

Anyhue!

Today! We went to Petrosains! It is so cool and we had a lot of fun! You know, at first, I was sceptical about it. I mean it's Malaysia right?? Malaysia is never that fun or anything. I mean just look at our Genting theme park! Boring. Anyway, I came to school 15 minutes earlier because smarty pants Miz told me the wrong time. And I met Shameen! After like days haven't seen her face! She got a job ...? 15 year-olds can have jobs? We can?!

After that, everyone else came. Farisa, Gg, Diana and everybody else. gg was proud of herself because she brought her phone. OoOOoO! Breaking the rules lah now?! Hahhahah. We went off at 8.30 a.m. and I sat next to Gg. Gg was scribbling some shtuff in her notebook blah blah.. And I tried my hardest to distract Gg so she won't fall asleep. And when we got off at the front of KLCC, the first thing we did was.. take pictures!! hahahahah!! Yeah, seriously, we did that. I got lots of pics now.

Went into KLCC and everything is still closed. So, we were just walking around and finally decided to go to that Kinokuniya place. There was Shu
Ning and this chinese girl and they were practically dying to enter it! I mean I kid you not! When the besi gate thingy slide up, they were cheering it on to move faster! And we were just gaping at them... and pretending we're not from the same school... and try not to laugh at them... but failed... And the shop's staff we're laughing at them, too! It was just an 'Oh my god!' moment.

Miz went in and brought a basket. A frigging basket. Who goes to a bookstore and bring baskets along?!! We do that in grocery stores! Not Kinokuniya! She got four or five books in the basket and we're just gaping at her. Yet another 'Oh my god!' moment. In the end, we reserved the books. Heck, I even reserved one. I read that book before but I got kinda frustrated that I didn't finish it. Kinda cheap for a bestseller. RM34.95. Even my CDs worth more than that!

Got into Petrosains. Farisa being her loud self was trying the rope thingy and complaining about the being cold. And we ride this black egg-looking thing. At first its kinda scary but its alright! I like the tv screens and stuff. I mean they're bright as hell and some of them are moving and some are not so it's like very... Oooo... When we reached there, I promised to myself I will try everything. Every experiment there is. And tried I did.

Miza became some kind of a human wire - making this pendaflour light bulb shine! And me and Shameen tried all this miniature fork lifts and stuff to pick up rocks. I tried it but end up throwing the rock over the box! Shameen got it. And we even got petroleum shtuff on our hands! It smells! Ugh. And there was a rapping dinosaur?! There were loads. Shameen loves the earthquake bench. Everytime it shakes, she laughed her head off. And Farisa, being the loud person she is, was screaming all over the place. Then we had a Science show. We were pretending to be kanak2 Ribena for once! Like clapping and cheering and stuff. Then we ride a 'helicopter ride'. It was a video thinglah. Kinda bumpy - it gives me headache.

Then, we realised that we were kinda late in a way. We are just halfway through it and we got only 15 minutes! The others just raced to the door but me and Diana were like, Ok, let's try this! And we tried as fast as we could. We actually jumped from an experiment to the other one. It's kinda fun in a way! I laid on nails, I crawled through tubes and we went to this sort of a glow in the dark room. My skin was black! It was freaking scary! My white baju kurung was glowing blue and my shoes were blue, too! And for the first time, gg was a black girl. HAHAHAHAH!!

Then we walked out of the place. We bought our books. We window-shopped. And we got back home. I kinda slept in the bus because I was damn tired. But its kinda hard since the seat is kinda straight and hard and I don't want to hurt my neck so I have to move my head to beberapa posisi. Hahahah. And these guys we're loud! There was this one time, I woke up because the whole bus was singing a Happy Birthday song?! I don't know who. And I woke up again because I thought I heard Gg's voice but then when I look, she was sleeping and its actually Wen Ying. Heh. Got back home. Read a few pages and went off to La-La Land.. that's pretty much it. I had fun in Petrosains!
